Step One

-- Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered ... whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

-- If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.

-- Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ so that the holiday joy will spread.

Step Two

-- Surf around your Flist (or friends' friends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

-- If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just... wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

MY LIST:

1. I'd like a header for my journal. I'd like it to be focused on the Glitterati and the KAOSS pad, like a collage of different shots? I'm not opposed to Matt's fingers making an appearance. XD And somewhere on there if you could include "kaosspad @ livejournal" or some variation of that would be great. :D
2. It's Christmas time, therefore I need a Christmas icon. I think an icon of Matt in a santa hat playing the Glitterati would be great. Bonus points if you can make the Santa hat sparkle like the Glitterati.
3. See this icon?  I'd love it if somebody could put the words "lick here" with an arrow pointing to Matt's chest, like this icon: 
4. I love Muse gif icons. Anything really. Whether any of the boys are doing something sexy or dorky, it doesn't matter to me.
5. I love Hayley Williams icons. She's one of my favorites. The music videos for "Pressure", "Decode" and "Playing God" are some of my favorite hair moments for her.
6. I have a really big soft spot for het/femslash fics. So if anybody is up to that challenge, then great. I love the idea of girl!Dom and girl!Matt. Even better if it's teen!fic. I don't care about the scenario. (They could both be in band and on their way back from a competition and begin to fool around under the blanket they're sharing. Or they could be at a summer camp. Or a slumber party. Seriously, I don't care. I'd just be happy if I got a femslash!Belldom fic.) I may or may not spot an experience from high school in there. LOL IDGAF. As for het: Matt fingers and eats out a girl, possibly somebody from an orgy? (I will say that I would rather her be on the sweet and innocent side than the slutty side. Basically, picture yourself in the situation. :D ) Please to be including filthy, filthy descriptions of Matt's fingers and drawn on veiny forearms. Wrist sucking/nibbling may or may not be appreciated. I don't care if Dom makes an appearance or not. Whatever ~fits into the story you've got going on. I'm so horrible. XD
7. London or British flag icons. Love that place. <3
8. Music recs? I love getting new music. I just ask that it's in MP3 format. I don't have an iPod. O.o
9. UM. UM. I'M OUT OF IDEAS. I don't want to put anything that costs money. I'll leave that up to my family and friends. So really, anything involving Matt/Muse is fine by me :) Or you could get totally creative and think of something that I didn't. Surprise me. :D

About to head out of town for the weekend. Thought I would throw this up to have something to come back to.

More than anything, though, please be honest. You can't find this sort of straight-forwardness in real life. This is a rare opportunity for me to use the fact that I have a group of people who know me moderately well and can tell me right now exactly what they think of me.

This is an incredibly vain thing to do, I know. But I do think it's a good chance for everyone to find out what is good and bad about them - what they need to cherish and nurture, and what they need to improve upon.
